December Miller’s TechCrunch Review
In his Sourcegraph Series .b blog post, December Miller looks at the newly released Sourcegraph Suite and gives it an enthusiastic review.
Miller states, “Sourcegraph is one of the most ambitious projects I’ve come across in some time.” He says the suite provides “a powerful, platform-agnostic tool for exploration and analysis of open source projects.”
Miller gives a detailed breakdown of each feature included in the suite, concluding with his assessment of its overall value. He concludes, “if you’re familiar with Git or Mercurial and are looking for an all-in-one solution to your source code management needs, then Sourcegraph should be on your radar.”
What’s New in Sourcegraph Series 2.6b
December Miller’s TechCrunch Review
Sourcegraph Series 2.6b is now available and includes new features like a merge tool, improved graph exploration, and more! Check out the complete list of changes below:
Merge Tool
You can now use the merge tool to combine two or more graphs into a single one. It is helpful if you want to combine different versions of a chart or if you need to share a diagram with someone else. To use the merge tool, select merge from the toolbar and choose which graphs you want to combine. You can also specify how many copies of each chart you wish to create.
The merge tool is available in the Sourcegraph Explorer and Graph Control tabs.
Improved Graph Exploration
Sourcegraph Series 2.6b includes several improvements to help you quickly explore your graphs. For example, we’ve added support for keyboard navigation and drag-and-drop so you can move nodes around quickly and easily. We’ve also added an “inspect” button that lets you look closely at specific nodes in your graph.
We hope these enhancements make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for in your graphs!
Changes in the Appearance of Sourcegraph Pages
If you’ve been following Sourcegraph closely, you may have noticed a few changes in the appearance of our pages. We’ve made minor updates to improve our site’s readability and overall look. Additionally, we’ve completely rewritten our front-end codebase to be more responsive and faster to load.
These updates are part of our ongoing effort to make Sourcegraph the best source code management platform. We hope you enjoy the new look and feel!

Sourcegraph is a powerful tool for developers. Its focus on real-time collaboration makes it an ideal platform for software development, while its search capabilities make it a valuable resource for any project. Navigation and search are improved in Sourcegraph Series .b: December Miller’s TechCrunch Review. The new navigation system helps users instantly find the information they need, regardless of where it is located in the interface. The new search engine uses natural language processing to find relevant results based on the keywords you enter quickly. You can quickly find the information you need without going through irrelevant information or pages full of clutter.
Improvements to the Editor and Markdown Support
1. Improvements to the Editor and Markdown Support
In November, we released an update to our editor that added support for markdown and other rich text formats. This update made it easier for you to create beautiful documents with Sourcegraph by allowing you to insert code blocks, table of contents, and images just as quickly as you would any other text. Since then, we’ve made improvements to editor support, including adding new themes and minor tweaks to existing ones.
We’re also continuing work on our source code analysis tool, which will provide a comprehensive view of your codebase and help you find problems early. This tool is still in development, but we are close to finishing it and will soon be able to share more about it. Check out our latest blog post about progress to see what’s next.
Miscellaneous Improvements and Bug Fixes
In this release, we’ve fixed a bug where some users could not save their changes. We’ve also made some other minor improvements and bug fixes.
Please let us know if you run into any problems. We’re always happy to hear your feedback.
