The government of India has introduced a new scheme, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, which gives farmers up to Rs 6,000 per year as minimum income support. Piyush Goyal announced it during the Interim Union Budget of India on February 1, 2019.
eKYC
There are two ways of completing the eKYC for PM Kishan: offline and online. For offline eKYC, visit a CSC (Central Secretariat of Communications) and update your Aadhaar number. Then, you can complete the form by providing your biometric details. After you have entered the correct information, you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile phone.
To complete the eKYC for PM Kishan, you must visit the website of PM Kisan and access the eKYC option on the homepage. You will be asked to enter your Aadhaar card number and password. After that, you’ll need to confirm the details by submitting a 2-factor authentication code to your registered mobile phone number.
You must have an Android smartphone to complete the online KYC. You can also register at CSC centers if you don’t have access to an Android phone. Once registered, you can view the status of your payments and see if you are eligible to receive payments.
After completing the eKYC for PM Kisani, you can log in to the official portal to confirm your eligibility and receive payments. Once you’ve verified your eligibility, you’ll receive your first installment of PM Kisan. Then, you can continue to receive payments once the eKYC process is complete.
The eKYC is mandatory for all farmers who want to receive PM Kisan financial support. You can receive up to Rs6,000 annually through three equal installments if you’re eligible. The money is then sent straight to your bank account. The eKYC procedure will help eliminate bogus beneficiaries.
When you’re ready to do an initial eKYC, there are various ways for users. You can enter the system through your PC or mobile device or challenge a verified PMK-ID at the Kisan portal. Plus, an online portal gives step-by-step instructions for the process, so it’ll be easy to get started.
If you are yet to complete your eKYC, make sure you do it before the deadline of August 31. After that, you can wait for the next installment to begin distributing your payments on September 1.
Financial benefit
The PM Kisan scheme is a scheme that provides a financial benefit to landholding farmers. The system offers a total of Rs 6,000 per family every four months. To avail of the use, farmers must apply at the Revenue Office or their nodal officer. Alternatively, they can contact Common Service Centers. Farmers must provide basic details during the registration process, such as their name, gender, and Aadhaar number, along with the prescribed documents.
The scheme was launched in December 2018 with government funding. It has reached out to over 9.75 crore farmer families. As of now, it has released its eighth installment; the ninth installment is due in August. Moreover, some farmers in India still have not yet received any money from it. One such farmer from Halang village in Ukhrul district had received the money up to the 4th installment, but it has not reached his account online after checking online portal records. The system is not showing up in the file name. Waiter, there is no record of the individual’s presence on these files by the site.
The government launched the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in 2018. It aims to improve the income of small farmers through an innovative program. Farmers need money for fertilizer, seeds, etc., and can get it by registering for the scheme. Funding has been allotted for the 11th installment totaling Rs 21,000 crore to reach as many as ten crores of farmers.
Those farmers who wish to apply for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can do so online by visiting the scheme’s official website. Then, they must click on “New Farmer Registration” in the Farmer’s Corner section. When they register online, they must provide scanned copies of their necessary documents.
PM Kisan includes a monthly fund transfer where all the farmers receive the same amount on the same day of the month. It has proven to be a massive help to India’s farmers, who will now have an easier time paying off loans and purchasing seeds and other supplies.
Installment releases
As part of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Indian government has provided financial support to farmers who receive welfare. The scheme offers three installments each year, with the first released on February 24, 2019. It’s followed by two more in April and July.
The Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (KSY) is a government initiative that provides a guaranteed interest return on small savings for the smallest Indian farmers. Some might say that it’s much too early to start preparing for your payments, but it’s best not to wait because there’s a chance they won’t be credited until Diwali, which falls on October 30. The Kisan scheme will be very beneficial for underserved and marginal farmers. The government is expected to transfer about Rs 16 billion to these farmers annually.

Registration process
Register online or with a local revenue officer if you’re interested in applying for financial assistance under the PM Kisan Yojana. There is a small registration fee associated with it. The central and state governments will assist you through this process. Once registered, you can then log in to view your registration status online and determine if there are any previous installments you may need to collect.
After you’ve done this, go to the official website. Click on Farmers Corner and select “Register As a Farmer.” Fill in the required information, including your Aadhar card number. You can then submit the form by selecting the submit option. It’s also a good idea to print out two copies of the paper, so you have a copy for your records.
The registration process is simple. All you need is an Aadhaar number, a bank account number, and the land documents used for the application. The government has made this process easy by creating a central registration portal. The government will send the forms to state departments for final approval. Once the documents are approved, You will transfer funds to the farmer’s bank account.
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in February of this year. Since then, it has been implemented in all states but West Bengal. It has been estimated that approximately 75 lakh farmers in the state are not obtaining benefits from the scheme. As such, the PM has clarified the situation in West Bengal and explained the new law to farmers.

The government estimates that more than three lakh farmers in the Prakasam district have completed their Aadhaar authentication and the PM Kisan registration process. However, only 2.2 lakh of them have completed their eKYC process. The Centre has extended the deadline for completing eKYC four times so far. It initially set a July 31 deadline for farmers, but it has grown to September 18.
